Krzysztof Gierat chairing jury in Karlove Vary

Director of the Krakow Film Festival will chair the documentary jury in Karlove Vary.

It is our pleasure to inform that Krzysztof Gierat, director of the Krakow Film Festival will chair the documentary jury at Karlove Vary this year.

The Karlovy Vary International Film Festival is considered the most prestigious film event in Europe. The most important programmme sections are: Official Selection – Competition, East of the West Competition and Documentary Competition. Each of these sections include Polish films this year. "Papusza" by Joanna Kos-Krazue and Krzysztof Krauze has been qualified to the main competition,"Lalkarz" by Wiktoria Szymańska and "Rogalik" by Paweł Ziemilski will compete in the documentary section, and "Dziewczyna z szafy" by Bodo Kox and "Płynące wieżowce"by Tomasz Wasilewski are part of the East of the West competition, which is focused on young talented filmmakers from Central and Eastern Europe.

48th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival starts on 28th June and will last till 6th July. More about the festival: HERE.
