A marathon of music and film at Kijów.Centrum
We offer you a true marathon for the fans of the unconventional short film forms and alternative music. This year, we’ve prepared over thirty music videos in a two-hour screening, including three clips by Canada, a Spanish trio, which became famous thanks to its video for El Guincho. Worthy of a special note is a peculiar video cover of the scene of resurrection from Dreyer’s The Word, created by Luis Cerveró to the music of Mishima.
There is also the winner of the last year’s Yach Film festival, Bajzel’s Don’t Disappear directed by Matthew Schroeder, and the laureates of this year’s Muvi competition in Oberhausen: Skyence’s INSCT, Bagatelle I by sonic.art, and What About Things Like Bullets by a Georgian artist Natalie Beridze.
An interesting thing for the fans of David Lynch is a video clip made by three young Englishmen to I Know, performed by the director himself and inspired by the Twin Peaks maker’s films.
Despite the late hour and long screening time, this rich and diverse set of music videos won’t let you sleep a wink.
