The film "Hanoi-Warsaw" directed by Katarzyna Klimkiewicz, which was presented during the last edition of the Festival in national and international short film competitions has been nominated for the European Film Academy award in the Short Film category. The film tells a story of a young Vietnamese, who crosses the Polish border illegally, to meet with her boyfriend in Warsaw.
The film produced by TV Kino Polska is connected with the Krakow Film Festival from the very beginning, as its orgin was the contest "Young Frames: Debutants", launched at the KFF in 2007.
EFA prize laureates will be announced in December. We keep our fingers crossed and hope that Katarzyna Klimkiewicz will repeat last year’s success of Marcel Łoziński.
