This special screening of archival films from the 1920s to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Poland’s independence will feature “Sculptor with the Camera” by Marcin Giżycki, edited from the footage by count August Zamoyski as well as “Polonia Restituta” and “The Standard of Freedom” by Ryszard Ordyński – fragments of films about the fight for independence during World War I and the Battle of Warsaw using original battle footage from 1914-1920 and showing war destruction and important military events.
Two bands, the Beat Freaks and SALK, will perform during the screening. After the screening, we will raise our glasses to Poland. (tickets, accreditations)
