Workshops which will take place during 54th KFF are calling for participants.
DOK.Restart and DOK.Incubator – workshops aiming to bring Polish films to the very top of the international scene are calling for participants.
Apparently, the age-old documentary has been brought to its knees. To call broadcasters to invest massive amounts of money into the creative productions – like they did in the last decades – is, despite their good will, like beating a dead horse. But actually, there is still an audience, ready to come to the cinema, to a festival, to watch, support, and promote these films; but just the outstanding, special, excellent ones. So what is the difference between a good and an excellent documentary?
Time, money, vision and a lot of energy. After many successful activities for the fiction film development, Wajda School has come to cooperate with renowned international workshop DOK.Incubator to support documentary projects willing to work hard – and fly high.
The DEADLINES for submission:
March 3rd (DOC.INCUBATOR: half-year rough.cut workshop)
April 11th (DOK.RESTART: intensive week-long workshop)
