Lazy Sunday? Not in Krakow! Today, May 26th, we kick off the 53rd Krakow Film Festival. 8 days filled with the best docs, animations and short fictions are ahead of us. After the screenings we invite you to the Q&A sessions with the filmmakers.

3.00 p.m. National Competition (1) / International Short Films Competition (1)
The screening of the polish productions which also run in International Short Film Competition. After, the Q&A session with: Marcin Janos Krawczyk (Mother 24/7), Zbigniew Czapla (Toto), Ewa Borysewicz (To Thy Heart), Monika Pawluczuk (When I am a Bird).
6.00 p.m. THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE 53rd KRAKOW FILM FESTIVAL / DocFilmMusic Competition (1)
The official launching of of the Festival will be feature music documentary about the charismatic actor and musician Harry Dean Stanton.

Even more music will be heard in the next music documentary telling the story of the legendary drummer Ginger Baker.
