They come from different countries but all share the belief that despite advanced age and many wasted opportunities in life it is not too late to seek happiness. A retired Japanese man tries to make up for the time once filled with work by reading fairy tales to children, an American leaves everything behind and sets off to the desert and a Brit entertains guests performing as a drag queen in a Spanish club. The three unconventional portraits make a poignant picture of the male aging process.

Documentary film director. She was born in 1971 in Zurich and received education from Ringier’s School of Journalism and the London Film School. In 1996-1998, she worked as a producer at SRF, the Swiss public radio and television station. Since 1998, she has been an independent director.
