The social life of the residents of Boizenburg, a sleepy town in North-Eastern Germany, takes place in a local bar. Apart from talks over beer and watching football matches, the clients observe the train station nearby. In 2015, groups of refugees heading for the nearby camp could be seen more and more often among the passengers leaving the train. The film shows how local workers, uncertain about their future, and their family members react to the arrival of “others”.
