Today, real cowboys live in Japan. Since World War II, country music has been popular in this country. The film shows how American occupation changed Japanese popular culture. It presents old performers who go on pilgrimages to Nashville to pay tribute to the music of the Wild West and who also created their own country music festival to infect younger generations with their passion.
