"Holy Zoo” offers a new, unique perspective on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It is an insightful observation of friendly, albeit not deprived of tension, relations between Jewish and Muslim employees of the zoo in Jerusalem. Although their views differ, care of animals pushes conflicts to the background. The film is also a colourful gallery of employees devoted to their jobs and guests who regularly come to the zoo, as well as the animals themselves and their rituals.
