The film shows an inspiring life of the youngest Turkish mayor and a charismatic woman, Leyla Imret, who, at the age of 26, assumed the highest position in a small town, Cizre, at the very heart of the Kurdish opposition movement. Leyla spent the best part of her life in Germany where she went after her father had been murdered. When the situation in her family town stabilised, she decided to return to Turkey to help to rebuild the town.
