Doctor Erik Erichsen was one of the characters of the famous documentary "The Swedish Theory of Love". The director returns to him to tell the story of a unique physician who, after thirty years, left his job and went with his wife to Ethiopia where he started to work at a small field hospital. Despite extreme conditions and exceptionally severe medical cases, the character feels much more fulfilled there than in the bureaucratic health care system of Sweden.
