The Neon Trifle
Poland1959animated9'Retrospektywa Witolda Giersza (2017)
Set in a neon world, full of humour and melodramatic clashes, it is a story about unfulfilled love of a bellboy and an attractive hairdresser. In the morning, passers-by will find a neon sign, which fell off the hotel roof at night, lying in the street. The graphic design of this charming tale was developed in collaboration with Jan Młodożeniec, an eminent painter, graphic artist and the leading figure of the Polish Poster School.
