Five men hang the sixth on a thick leafless branch of a huge tree. The execution is observed by a seventh man who is hiding. At night, he will sneak into the executioner’s house to take revenge. It is a strange story whose stuffy atmosphere of perpetual danger tightens its grip on the viewer as it includes some frightening, undiscovered secret. Honourable Mention at the 16th National Short Film Festival in Krakow (1976).
