Surreal in its poetics, the film is a story about an apartment building that one day “moved itself from its foundations” and went on a journey that ended when it became immersed in a lake. The unexpected journey of the monumental building is observed by people in shock; a train passes by in a distance, a small yellow little Fiat is driving along a road, a plane crosses the sky while the building is rhythmically moving across a green, idyllic landscape.
