Two funeral undertakers transport a Calabrian immigrant from Switzerland to Italy to bury him in his hometown. The characters are also immigrants – Jose is a down-to-earth guy from Portugal and Jovan is a Gypsy from Belgrade who believes in life after death. Going on this unique journey in a hearse from the North to Southern Italy, they, in a way, pay tribute to the deceased and also show small joys of life.
