Paul’s dream is to get from his home country of Cameroon to Europe. The way leads through the desert, Moroccan forests and the Mediterranean Sea. The longest stretch is a stopover at Melilla, a Spanish autonomous city in Africa, where Paul and other immigrants live in the woods waiting for the right moment to cross the sea to Europe. With each next stage of the journey the relationship between the character and the director gets closer as the latter becomes an active participant of events.
