In this quasi-documentary story presented from Dawid’s perspective (Łukasz Simlat) he is trying to come to terms with his complex relationship with his father with Alzheimer’s (Krzysztof Kowalewski). The film is composed of still photos with a voice-over as well as episodes involving actors, both revealing an everyday life with the disease and the process of getting used to it. Dawid has to deal not only with clinical symptoms of his father’s condition but also with a lack of understanding from the people around him.

Born in 1992 in Płock, where he graduated from the second degree music school. He earned his degree from the Film Directing Department of the Warsaw Film School. His diploma film Strong Coffee Isn’t That Bad (2014) won numerous awards in Poland and abroad. He gained professional experience on the sets of various films, such as The Citizen by Jerzy Stuhr, Bridge of Spies by Steven Spielberg, The Planet of Singles by Mitja Okorn or True Crimes by Alexandros Avranas. Currently, he is a student of the Artes Liberales Department of the University of Warsaw.
