Janina Dawidowicz, Stella Zylbersztajn and Dina Langbaum are Poles with Jewish roots who talk about their memories from the ghetto. Each of them in her own way experienced humiliation, hunger and contempt because of her origin. In the brutal world of the ghetto, there was a separate place, a Catholic parish run by Father Marceli Godlewski. Some could find a christening certificate there and the hope for an escape to the “Arian side”, other were seeking faith.
