Tango
Brasil2016animated13'Konkurs krótkometrażowy (2017)
A tasty feast with impressive gusto, plenty of characters and attention to detail. The ritual Tango, resembling the Greek Dionysia, is transformed into a great deluge when the main protagonist is locked in a cage. For local people, it is not the beginning of the apocalypse, but the dawn of a new era. Is it going to be any better? “Tango” is an animated variation on Franz Kafka’s “Hunger Artist”, rich with symbolic meaning and intertextual references.
