Olga
France2017fiction19'Konkurs krótkometrażowy (2017)
A modest, intense drama about complicated family relations. After an abruptly broken relationship Olga (played by Anne Loiret, known, for example, from The Life of Adele - Chapter 1 and 2) moves into a small and neglected flat of her son and his girlfriend. Hostility between the two women is growing with each scene. Rivalry for the boy’s attention and favour must end up in an outburst. Cinema is rarely so authentic and short films are seldom so frank and close to the protagonists. So far, only John Cassavetes could present the portraits so saturated with emotions successfully.
