'Decorado' means stage design – something artificial which is supposed to simulate reality. This is what the animation of Alberto Vasquez is like – it is a short existential story about the sense of life, feelings, a hybrid of horror and a perverse comedy whose main characters are not-quite-identified animal and human creatures. Black and white figures allow the passing time to oscillate between a dream and reality.
