This independent production made, in fact, without the filming crew presents a story of a truly heroic dimension. The protagonist is the mother of a murdered boy from Taipei who decides to adopt a young killer doing his time in prison. Her confessions and reminiscences enable the viewer to understand what contributed to this extraordinary transformation. The austere film material reveals a little treaty about responsibility and forgiveness.
