Coyote
Switzerland2018animated10'Konkurs krótkometrażowy (2018)
A crazy, absurd and psychedelic animation about a coyote whose entire family was murdered by wolves. Now, as a lonely rider, he is looking for consolation as well as revenge. He ranges across deserts with a fang on his neck, meets the ghosts of bisons and drinks in roadside bars. The animation is teeming with violence: blood is spilling like confetti and guts are falling out of cut-open bodies. “Coyote” is like an amalgam of Tarantino’s films and the series “True Detective”. It is hardcore, but in fluorescent colours.
