This is not a typical film about an old painter and his muse. The artist, who comes from Lebanon, found a safe haven next to his Swiss wife, but the relationship between them is much more complicated. Only in the presence of the cameras do Hafis and Mara face what has never been pronounced between them for several decades. The spectators can discover what has been hiding behind his anxiety and her patient presence.

Kurdish director and producer. He was born in 1964 in Al-Kamiszal in Syria. First, he studied History and Law at the University of Damascus an then Film Directing at the Film Academy in Bratislava. Until 1995, he worked for the Czech and Slovak television. He moved to Switzerland, where he established his own production company Frame Film. His award-winning films include "Die Schwalbe" (2016), "Der Imker" (2013), "David der Tolhildan" (2006), "Triumph of Iron" (1998) and "The Place Where God Sleeps" (1993).
