The Distance
Iran2017fiction25'Konkurs krótkometrażowy (2018)
Psychological cinema with a social streak set in the severe winter landscape of Iran. Yashar comes from Georgia to see the parents of his friend. The joy of the meeting succumbs to the serious nature of the news he has to tell them. Or maybe, they will tell him something much more important? In his short film, the director and screenwriter, Yousef Kargar, touches upon the subject that goes far beyond the boundaries of Georgia and Iran and will be understood everywhere where families need to split because of economic reasons.
