The Limits of Work
Czech Republic2017documentary70'Gdzieś w Europie (2018)
Below-minimum wages, several-hour-long shifts, no toilet or meal breaks – the conditions of work at many companies are deplorable, but employees are afraid to talk about it openly. In order to show the truth, Saša Uhlová, a journalist, finds employment at such places under an alias. Thanks to her hidden camera, the viewers can see the routine of work at a hospital laundry, poultry farm or waste segregation plant. Are there any limits of the inhumane treatment of people?
