USA2017documentary95'Docs+science (2018)
The Philippine eagle is the biggest and rarest eagle species that can only be found in the Philippines. Neil Rettig, a world-famous cinematographer, showed this unique bird to the world in the 1970s making it the symbol of the Phillipines. Today, as a result of human activity, there are no more than 800 representatives of this species left. After many years, Neil Retting returns to the Philippines to set off on an exhausting expedition with a small group of people determined to save the eagle. Together, they are seeking an answer to the question about what should be done to save endangered species from extinction.
