An intimate story of Wojtek - a single farmer, Paweł – an alcoholic that Wojtek is taking care of - and Sebastian, a Swiss director who observes this peculiar closeness. With his camera, he accompanies the two men in ordinary and extraordinary situations at the same time becoming a member of the village community. The camera captures the village folklore, including a visit of a priest during Christmas, Easter celebrations and village discoes, all of which are accompanied by heavy drinking. In the background, there is Paweł’s struggle with the addiction. The director’s attitude moves between distance from and participation in the film characters’ lives.
