The digital revolution came to cinema quite late and was treated with distrust for a long time. Today, one cannot shy away from it anymore as it is inevitable. Together with the filmmakers, we can visit archives, museums and film studios in different parts of the world to find out how digitisation influences cinematography, what opportunities it offers and what dangers it entails. Cinema Futures is a story that encourages us to reflect on our memory and eternal human attempts to immortalise reality. All this leads us to the fundamental question: how to save human achievements from oblivion?
