Living far away from civilisation in the company of six domesticated dingos, Sreten Božić, who writes under the alias of B. Wongar, calls the spirits from Aboriginal beliefs. In the 1950s he left his homeland of Yugoslavia heading for Paris where he collaborated with, among others, Jean-Paul Sartre and Simone de Beauvoir, and then went to start a new life in Australia. Today, he is a recognised researcher of the country’s native culture. In his everyday work, he is primarily looking for contact with nature and those who passed away.
