Why is Poland sometimes so tiring? What does it mean to be Polish? Are we a tolerant or xenophobic nation? These and many other questions are posed by the film characters, the residents of today’s Warsaw, to each other (and the viewers). The group includes also those who came here from very different cultures. Among them, there is Krzysztof whose family has recently recovered a townhouse owned by their Jewish ancestors before the war. He cannot see a place for himself in this country. His personal story gives rise to a few tales where the main theme is a sense of belonging.
