The punk band from Düsseldorf which was established in 1982 has sold over 19 million records so far and does not intend to retire. The documentary registers their recent tour promoting the latest album “Laune der Natour”. It captures Die Toten Hosen on stage and outside it, fascinated by their relentless vitality and maximum involvement in what they do. The tour, primarily around German cities, also becomes a political manifesto of the band, which openly expresses its opposition to racism.
