Zeno Effect
Singapore2019documentary51'Docs+Science (2019)
Quantum cinema noir set in oneiric Tokyo. An eccentric scientist is hiding from the world, his incurably ill daughter is mysteriously kidnapped and a private detective, beaten down by life, follows the two. This pioneering film experiment combining the genres of fiction, documentary and a personal essay is devoted to the quantum Zeno effect, one of the greatest paradoxes of contemporary science. The film was made by Dagomir Kaszlikowski, an excellent physicist from the National University of Singapore.
