José Carlos Grey, a Spaniard, was a black Republican fighter. During World War II he was imprisoned by Nazis in the Mauthausen concentration camp. Having a different skin colour, he was treated worse than other inmates. Miraculously, he survived the war and returned broken to his wife and child. Many years later, his daughter tries to revive memories. Maybe archival materials will help her to understand her silent and withdrawn father and the film footage will save the memory about him for the future generations.
