Snowflakes falling from the sky, temperatures below zero and snowstorms are something that children from Palestine cannot experience on a daily basis. Farrah, who is 10, has an opportunity to find out what a true Finnish winter is like. The girl, together with her brothers and mother, comes to a foreign country in search for a better and safer life. Very soon, Farrah finds her own place in the new reality: she loves to play outside, discovers that skiing is her passion and takes part in a competition. She also learns the language, integrates herself with peers and experiences the freedom she has never felt in her homeland. The only thing that troubles her is her longing for her dad and uncertainty about her future in Finland.
