What do people do first when they wake up? Pick up their mobile phones. This is where the alarm is as well as thousands of stories of their friends. Jola Bańkowska’s animation is like a story on Instagram – a seemingly chaotic collection of scenes that create a foretaste of the characters’ lives. We can observe artists who substituted paint brushes or instruments with virtual reality or children for whom a mobile phone is more interesting than a playground. The film is an ironic observation, including a message for reflection, about the world full of likes, Internet friends and loneliness.
