An intimate story about a mother and a daughter, mourning and acceptance. A subtle psychological drama embedded in the Polish reality. It has just been 6 months since Weronika’s father died. The women deal with the sudden loss in a completely different way. They live under one roof, but next to each other. Only when they are detached from their routines, unbearable for both, and forced to confront each other, may they honestly talk to each other. It is a short film directing debut of Aleksandra Świerk, who is currently working on her feature-length script debut – “Maryjki” (dir. by Daria Woszek).
