After an unexpected death of his mother, a 9-year old boy called Zucchini becomes friends with a nice policeman, Raymond, and ends up in a children’s home with other kids of the same age. Initially, Zucchini finds it difficult to adjust to a new place, but gradually he makes friends whose support he can count on when needed.
