A trembling camera is following very closely the protagonists and their faces. Christmas tree. Lights. Holiday commotion, talks, minor arguments and naughty children. Fun that gets out of control. Or, maybe it got out of control much earlier? A secret that charismatic Jude is hiding will tear this delicate family tissue into shreds planting anxiety among the viewers and definitely pulling them out of their comfort zone. The memorable creation of Maya Harman, debuting before the camera, is reminiscent of Natalie Portman from the times of "Leon the Professional" demonstrating the same strength and, above all, naturalness. She immediately captures the viewers’ attention and is the one who "carries" the story. The winner of the Silver Dragon Award for the best short fiction film at the 60th KFF.

Since 2015 he creates a filmmaking duo with Dusty Mancinelli. Their first collaboration together was the short film “Slap Happy”, which screened at BFI London Film Festival, VIFF and Slamdance, among others. Their next short, “Woman in Stall”, won the Jury Award for Narrative Student Short at the Austin Film Festival and the Narrative Shorts Grand Jury Prize at Slamdance. Their latest short, “Chubby” had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival, and received an Honourable Mention at Slamdance.
