The animator’s camera thoroughly penetrating the universe stops at one of the planets. It is inhabited by strange little people reminiscent of characters from famous fairy tales, but this is only an apparent association. In their behaviour, they manifest plenty of guilefulness, maliciousness, mutual hostility and a large dose of cruelty. Dumała continues to apply his insightful approach, full of black, pure nonsense humour, to the ‘earthly’ reality around us, increasingly more hostile and incomprehensible, in equally witty stories presented in A Nervous Life 1 (1993) and A Nervous Life 2 (1994).
