The Danger in Front

After the screening of The Danger in Front your visit to the barber will never be the same. You will think three times before you touch upon any sensitive subject, especially of a criminal nature, because you never know what to expect from a barber. You do not know what he may be thinking when all day he is observing life in the street or what he will do when he notices a shadow of a threat. This short and intense thriller noir is like Dogville by Lars von Trier in some aspects and, at the same time, it is very much different from it. It is a theatre, cartoon, grotesque and a crazy and spectacular game in which a revolver that has been pointed once will certainly shoot in the end.

Photographer, freelance video and film director, graphic artist At the age of 18, Alexis left on a 5-year trip stretching from the Yukon and as far as the Algarve. Armed with his Minolta x-300, he tenaciously took images of the people he met and the landscapes he saw. Thinking it was garbage, his girlfriend threw out the bag which contained approximately 140 rolls of film: the entire inventory captured during the journey. Now, Alexis works in digital and she is no longer his girlfriend.
