Come Here

Sam is a shy and sensitive animal care worker at a dog shelter in Ostende. She prefers to hang back and conscientiously perform her everyday duties, such as cleaning, feeding and walks. Koen, a behaviourist, works with new dog owners. When a neurotic owner of a Belgian shepherd appears at the shelter, Sam decides to help her. Full of warmth and sympathy for the protagonists, the films tells a charming story about the feeling of being lost, the need of closeness, a second chance and the overcoming of one’s own fears, but above all about the powerful bond with four-legged friends.
