Poland2020documentary52'Dźwięki muzyki (2021)
Free admission, limited number of seats. There are no real musicians anymore today. What is left is a handful of buffs cultivating folk sounds. Adam Strug, a performer and promoter of traditional music, is our film guide to this world. Together with him, we explore different regions of Poland meeting the best singers and virtuosos of folk instruments, not all in an advanced age. They have resisted the cheesy folk mainstream and its commercialisation in the new era, and use music to convey their emotions and attachment to the roots.
