A healthy spirit in a healthy body! Every six years in Prague, there is a big get-together of Sokół gymnastic societies. The tradition goes back to the end of the 19th century. The 16th meeting held in 2018 was the focus of Mária Pinčíková’s impressive debut. Out of thousands of participants, she selected two very Forman-esque characters - Mirek, an experienced coach, and Radek, a teenage gymnast - to tell a story about timeless values related to the membership in Sokół societies. Preparations to the parade along the city streets and gymnastic performances in the stadium are intertwined with private stories.
