Michał ‘Gier’ Giercuszkiewicz is a master of percussion, primarily known for his membership in the legendary band Dżem. Soon after the front man’s death, he isolated himself in the mountains of Bieszczady to live on a raft. Despite the passage of time, his drums and plates did not become covered with dust and the artist is planning to record an album. He works alone in his refuge, in the shadow of his past drug addiction and can sense this is ‘his last call’. The camera accompanies him in the preparations capturing the fragments of his lonesome existence and breath-taking landscapes. They will become part of his music, too.
