This is Evie - a cheerful and resolute woman of mature age, who even while cooking sausages cheerfully jiggles and sings. Theoretically, she should not have too many reasons to be happy, as she takes care of her very sick mother, Rose. The two women share a deep bond, a sharp tongue, an unusual sense of humour and a similar taste in films. Once again, they are watching together the romantic comedy featuring Cher and Nicolas Cag, ‘Moonstruck’. However, when the phrase ‘you will die just like everyone else’ can be heard from the TV screen, the two women stop commenting expressively on the plot and fall into a meaningful silence.
