Every year, several thousand Czech men, heavily laden with jars and fishing equipment, go abroad to fish. Six of them leave their favourite pub in Jihlava and travel to Norway. For some, it is the first time, while others are veterans of such expeditions. They dream about catching the halibut. Still on the way, they are already dividing kilograms of their future catch between them. They are looking forward to a male adventure. Can anything go wrong? Can the weather, equipment or skills fail them? Can the treacherous fish swim away? Or, maybe, one should expect all of the above in this documentary comedy about the individualities of Czech fishing?
