‘The unburial is at midnight. Everyone will be standing around the coffin and then I will look at them and say: this is an unburial’, declares the father to surprised Berka. ‘Dad, you must be mad, I’m not going anywhere’, replies the girl, who separated herself from the world under the thick layer of clothes and blankets. To start to her life again and enjoy it, Berka will have to confront her demons and disillusionment, forego some of her dreams and make space for others. Artur Wyrzykowski, the film director and screen writer, invites the spectators to participate in a mysterious ritual where sadness is adorned with a smile and a happy end is awaiting at the finale. Any other option is out of the question!
