Peaches, who is a performer, provoker and a sassy lady, does not slow down in the sixth decade of her life. To the contrary, her tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of her album ‘Teaches of Peaches’ was an explosion of creativity. For the filmmakers, it was also an opportunity to find out more about this rebellious artist, an icon of feminism and queer culture. The result is a documentary propelled with punk energy and intimate at the same time. The camera follows the vocalist not only during concerts but also in her Berlin flat and among friends, while unique archival footage reveals her less known past. Despite the passage of time, the message of Peaches remains valid. Age rated: 18+

Philipp Fussenegger

Austrian director, screenwriter and producer. He gained recognition from the German Film Academy in 2016 with the First Steps Award for "Henry". His documentary debut, "I Am the Tigress" (2021) explores the fascinating life of bodybuilder Tischa 'The Tigress' Thomas. Since 2022, he has been shaping the SexTech scene as the founder of “Cybrothel Berlin”, engaging in a visionary discourse and opening up new realms between humans and machines. "Teaches of Peaches" is his second feature-length documentary.

Judy Landkammer

Film editor and director born in 1988 in Landshut. She studied Multimedia Art in Salzburg, Austria. She edited several films, including "Henry" (her first medium-length film) that won the First Steps award in 2016, "The Misandrists" (her first feature-length film) that premiered at the 2017 Berlin International Film Festival, "Bester Mann" that received the jury prize in the medium-length film category at the Max Ophüls Film Festival in 2018, "I Am the Tigress" that celebrated its world premiere at the Max Ophüls Film Festival in 2021. "Teaches of Peaches" is the first project that she also co-directed.
